• More than 20 years of public accounting experience with Arthur Anderson and Ernst & Young (E&Y); Served as the leader of E&Y's TAS practice for the Ohio, western Pennsylvania, and upstate New York regions
• Focus on advising private equity and corporate clients with acquisition and divestiture activities
• Expertise in assisting clients in determination of sustainable cash flow (EBITDA) of target businesses under consideration for purchase often resulting in negotiating points for purchase price reductions
• Expertise in the following areas: corporate development strategies; corporate finance and accounting; audit and business advisory services; financial analysis and forecasting; P&L management turnaround; and operational restructuring revenue enhancement
• Successfully managed numerous (100+) high-value acquisition and divestiture transactions primarily for domestic clients. Also experienced with cross-border transactions within Canada, Europe, South America, Asia, and Australia
• Significant practice management experience. Successfully led all phases of retooling and growing Northeast Ohio Big Four transaction advisory services practice, including building strong, self-sustaining teams, expanding territories, and doubling revenues from $12 to $25 million
