DESCRIPTION:
Job Purpose:
Interns get to experience a "real" busy season in the largest independently owned CPA firm in Ohio. Interns will work mainly in our tax department. They will use ProSystems to complete individual and some of the less complex business returns.
Essential Tasks:
1. Preparation of income taxes (individual and corporate)
2. Preparation of franchise taxes and personal property taxes
3. Other duties as assigned
Working Conditions:
1. Professional environment
2. 55 hour work weeks will be required during a portion of the internship
Job Requirements: (basic skills, knowledge, education, ability, experience, attributes)
1. Good computer skills (Word, Excel)
2. Willingness to learn
3. Good communication skills
4. Completion of individual tax course helpful
5. GPA requirement of 2.8 and above
This internship would start in the beginning of this January and last until at least mid-April.
