DESCRIPTION: SS&G Financial Services, Inc. has an internship available for a high energy, creative college student pursuing a degree in MIS, Information Technology, or related field. Work hand in hand with our experienced IT professionals to gain the skills you need to be successful in the future. Some responsibilities of the position include moving, building, and maintaining workstations, working with user applications including Microsoft Office and standard Tax applications, maintaining technical documents and inventory, and some first level help desk support.
Job Requirements Requirements of the successful applicant include proficient knowledge of MS Office and Windows, good communication and people skills, working towards an IT, MIS or related degree, and having a basic understanding of networking environments. A GPA of 2.8 or above is also required.
The ideal candidate will be working approximately 20-30 hours a week; we will be flexible with your school schedule. This internship will be based out of either our Fairlawn office with occasional travel to the Solon office or vice versa. The term of the internship would last until at least mid-April with the possibility of being extended until May 2008.
