DESCRIPTION: SENIOR TAX STAFF OPPORTUNITY
We currently have outstanding opportunities for associate and senior associate level individuals to work in the growing tax practice of our Cincinnati office located in Montgomery (Sycamore Township).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and/or review of a variety of complex business and individual tax returns including multi-state income, franchise and property returns.
- Assist in advising clients on a full spectrum of tax services, including planning, research and compliance.
- Provide timely, high quality client service that exceeds client expectations.
- Recognize and inform management of opportunities to expand the Firm's services to clients.
- Ensure professional development through ongoing education and obtaining additional certifications as appropriate.
- Assist in handling routine client tax questions and work with clients to collect necessary information for tax return completion.
- Complete research and special projects as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
- Minimum of 2 years of public accounting experience
- CPA preferred or eligible to sit for the CPA Exam
- Experience with a variety of entities (S Corp, C Corp, Partnership) as well as individual returns
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong technical skills in accounting and tax preparation, review experience a plus
- Strong written and oral communications skills
- General knowledge of federal and state income tax laws is essential
- Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, Various tax software)
