SS&G welcomes Gary D. Wengerd, CPA
SS&G Financial Services, Inc. is pleased to welcome Gary D. Wengerd, CPA as an associate director in SS&G Healthcare Services LLC, its health care management and consulting division.
Wengerd joins SS&G from Community Health Partners Regional Health Systems where he served as chief financial officer for more than 12 years. He has significant experience with mid-size health organizations and assisting in the identification and implementation of strategies to improve financial performance. His areas of expertise include financial planning and analysis, accounts receivable management, budgeting, operations productivity analysis, and reimbursement.
Wengerd earned his bachelor's degree in accounting from The University of Akron. He serves on the board of directors of the United Way of Greater Lorain Country, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Healthcare Financial Management Association. Wengerd resides in Amherst.
