SS&G Financial Services, Inc. is pleased to welcome Floyd A. Trouten III, CPA, as a director in the tax department of its Cleveland office.

"Floyd is regarded as one of the most talented tax professionals in the region. We are fortunate to have someone of his caliber joining SS&G. His vast tax experience and expertise will be a great asset to SS&G," said Gary Shamis, CPA, M. Acc., managing director of SS&G.

Trouten worked as a tax professional at Arthur Andersen and comes to SS&G after 17 years at Hobe & Lucas as a tax partner. His areas of business focus are mergers and acquisitions, complex tax structures, and tax and business consulting. Trouten's experience includes working with closely held entities and their owners as well as high net worth family groups.

Trouten earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics and business administration from Baldwin-Wallace College. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Association for Corporate Growth. Trouten is on the board of Myeloma Foundation, Holy Name High School, State Trouper of Ohio, Nehring Family Foundation, and OMCO Holdings and Subsidiaries. He also is a trustee and member of the executive committee for Baldwin-Wallace College. Trouten resides in Strongsville.
