SS&G Financial Services, Inc. (SS&G) was named one of the Best Employers in Ohio by the Ohio Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Society for Human Resource Management. SS&G was honored as a Best Employer in the large company category at the third annual awards ceremony in Columbus on April 15.

The Best Employers in Ohio award recognizes companies who contribute to the state's economy, workforce, and businesses. Ten small/medium-sized companies (25-249 employees) and 10 large-sized companies (250 and more employees) were honored.

"We are extremely proud to be honored for the third year in a row," said Gary Shamis, SS&G's managing partner. "As our firm's success is based on the dedication of our outstanding employees, we are delighted that they have once again felt us worthy of winning the award as indicated through their input in the employee survey. We are continually developing programs to increase employee job satisfaction, which in turn has led to our exceptional retention rate."

Companies from across the state entered the two-part survey process to determine the Best Employers in Ohio. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. The second part consisted of an anonymous employee survey to measure their satisfaction.
