Tax Update Seminar 9/26/0709.26.07The state and local tax front is constantly changing, as was demonstrated by Ohio's enactment of the Commercial Activity Tax (CAT) in 2005. Currently, a number of states are totally revamping taxlaws to either attract new business and/or generate additional revenue. Your business might be affected!
SS&G will be hosting an educational seminar to address these important tax law changes and their impact to you. At each seminar, we will discuss: Ohio's CAT and sales and use tax, the new Michigan Business Tax (MBT), and Texas' Gross Margin Tax. Our state and local tax (SALT) experts will be on-hand to highlight portions of the tax law changes that will most impact your business. They will also talk about what you and your SS&G accountant can do to cope with the changes. This educational seminar is free to our clients. Participants will receive two hours of CPE credit. Registration and continental breakfast begins at 8 a.m. The seminars are scheduled to conclude by 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 26 The Metropolitan Club 50 E. River Center Blvd., Suite 1900 Covington, Kentucky 41011 We strongly encourage you and any financial employees/colleagues to attend this important seminar. We invite you to e-mail specific questions, topics, and/or concerns in advance to Mary Jo Dolson (MDolson@SSandG.com). We will address them at the presentation.
