Tax Update Seminar 9/20/0709.20.07The state and local tax front is constantly changing, as was demonstrated by Ohio's enactment of the Commercial Activity Tax (CAT) in 2005. Currently, a number of states are totally revamping tax laws to either attract new business and/or generate additional revenue. Your business might be affected! SS&G will be hosting an educational seminar to address these important tax law changes and their impact to you. At each seminar, we will discuss: Ohio's CAT and sales and use tax, the new Michigan Business Tax (MBT), and Texas' Gross Margin Tax. Our state and local tax (SALT) experts will be on-hand to highlight portions of the tax law changes that will most impact your business. They will also talk about what you and your SS&G accountant can do to cope with the changes. This educational seminar is free to our clients. Participants will receive two hours of CPE credit. Registration and continental breakfast begins at 8 a.m. The seminars are scheduled to conclude by 11 a.m. Thursday, September 20 Signature of Solon 39000 Signature Dr., Solon 44139 We strongly encourage you and any financial employees/colleagues to attend this important seminar.
